Glass
The Tiffany Style studio uses only high-quality materials of foreign origin because no imitation made of films and varnishes can come near to the expensive artistic glass. A stacked artistic glass painting will neither lose colors because of sun nor unglue because of bad weather.
Optionally the ready product can be inserted into a glass unit without breaking air-tightness of the window. Wide range of materials and state-of-the-art technologies of artistic glass painting allow us to make any of your dreams come true. Colored glass palette counts more than 300 hues and patterns and provides us with an unlimited resource to create artistic glass paintings. The Tiffany Style studio workshop uses several techniques of glass painting which can be combined in one article and, thus, the maximum artistic effect is created.
The most widespread types of artistic glass are:
-
Spectrum (USA) – very popular type of glass used in painting. Very high quality, exact color rendition. Color palette of about 300 hues. Glasses can be one-colored, mixed, opaque and transparent. The glass facture is unusually diverse: smooth, wavy, crimped and relief. Furthermore, the manufacturer produces a series of glass for fusing of S96 system.
-
Uroboros (USA) – hand-made spotty multilayered glass. Great variety of color combinations and factures makes this type of glass very off-the-wall. Glass series for fusing produced by Uroboros and Spectrum have the same coefficient of thermal expansion which allows us to combine them in this technique. A glass sheet like this is an art object in itself. As any other multilayered glass this one is very hard to work on.
-
Wissmach (USA) – solid glass with picturesque blotchiness. Facet stained glass. The technology of such stained glass production is very similar to that of a traditional classic stained glass with one difference: a facet is removed on the edges of used elements (all or some of them). Facet removal allows to get additional effects of light in the treated planes of the stained glass elements, and such stained glass surely looks even more beautiful.
